The Challenge – 64.30 miles – departs at 8:00am

The Valley Long – 33.88 miles – departs 9:00am

The Valley – 24.10 – departs at 9:30am

The Classic 26.87 miles – departs at 9:15am

The Family – 6.45 miles – departs at 10:00am and followed by a vehicle for safety.

New Mountain Bikes Routes

This year’s routes will highlight the fantastic trail system in the northeast section of Lyme. Called the Lyme Corner Trails and adjacent to the Nehantic State Forest – the route this year will bring you through some beautiful and challenging terrain. The routes are tentative due to possible changes required by management of the State Forest. There will be an intermediate route available that will be roughly half the length of the Rider’s Test.

The ‘Rider’s Test’ has it all. Traversing three fabled local preserves, Hartman Park, Wahlbridge Woodlands and Young  as well as  Nehantic State Forest, the course features Lyme’s ‘Three Bears’ in the form of three monster climbs.

At mile 9.5 and rest stop of the Rider’s Test, riders can choose to either complete the remaining 10 very technical miles of the northern loop or return south through the Nehantic Forest back to Ashlawn Farm and the finish line.

Rider’s Test leaves at 8:15am.

Intermediate Ride leaves at 8:30am.

We do not post the ride due to it crossing Private Owner’s land – we receive permission for one day use of their property.
